Fuel your dependence on God

Property Manager
Jonny Lush, BST Property Manager

When he’s not renovating units, managing our residential property, mowing lawns, leading music at his church, hosting guests, and juggling a household with four children under the age of fifteen, you’ll find Jonny Lush in lecture rooms chipping away at his Diploma of Theology.
He’s been studying part-time for the last three years and will be graduating at the BST Graduation Ceremony on 9th February 2016. Jonny is also an Elder at Rosalie Baptist Church where he and his family have been going for the last two years. With all the ‘busyness’ that comes with work, ministry, study and family life, we asked Jonny what helped him to get through it all.
“Having a support network of people who are living out their life and ministry and are real about their struggles, especially in the context of all the ‘busyness’, has been a great encouragement to me,” Jonny said.
“Prayer has been so important, though I admit I’m not always disciplined in that area. It’s only by God’s grace that I’ve been able to get through my studies.”
Jonny’s recent sermon on Luke 18:1-8 gives a great encouragement to pray and fuel our dependence on God. Click below to listen to Jonny’s sermon.
