Preaching can be daunting. Sometimes it feels like you’ve bitten off more than you can chew when you’ve agreed or been assigned to preach.
My name is John Cook and I’ve just launched a preaching club at BST. I would love my fellow students to join me in sharpening and refining our preaching skills.
As someone who has been in church ministry and studied at BST for the last few years, I’m still relatively new to preaching. Through this student preaching club, my hope is that we would encourage one another to promote biblical faithfulness, foster an environment that helps to discern gifting, and develop competency. The idea is that we create a preaching roster and receive peer feedback. Others can also come to observe.
