BVSc, DipMin, BTh, MAMin, PhD
DIRECTOR OF CENTRE FOR ASIAN CHRISTIANITY, HEAD OF MINISTRY AND PRACTICE, LECTURER IN MINISTRY & MISSION

Andrew grew up in Sydney and originally trained as a veterinarian. Then God took him on an exciting journey from caring for animals to caring for people, and he spent six and a half years pastoring two different Baptist churches in Brisbane following his theological training at Moore Theological College in Sydney. Andrew joined the faculty of BST in 2009, lecturing in the areas of Ministry and Mission. His PhD is on contextual communication of the gospel across cultures and was published into a book called Contextualization of the Gospel: Towards an Evangelical Approach in the Light of Scripture and the Church Fathers. Andrew loves seeing people so excited about their relationship with the Lord that they can’t help sharing with others from around the globe. Andrew is married to Sue and they have three energetic sons. As a family they are actively involved at City North Baptist church, and have a particular heart for people from other cultures. Andrew enjoys following rugby league, but laments the slide of the once-mighty Parramatta Eels.
