Come along and hear special guest speakers Mike Wilson and Dr Choon-Hwa Lim on Saturday, 3 August.
BST’s annual missions conference is for anyone who is interested in local and global mission or keen to support it. Our theme this year is GLOCAL MISSIONS.
Mike Wilson is SIM Australia’s Church Engagement Coordinator and supports Australian churches in reaching out cross-culturally and in developing a mission culture. He recently co-authored a book called ‘Changing Lanes, Crossing Cultures’, to help churches navigate reaching ethnic minorities in their own community. The book was shortlisted for Australian Christian Book of the Year in 2017.
Choon-Hwa Lim has a private psychology practice, has lectured in Intercultural Communications, and has experience in developing international ministry in churches. She also co-authored ‘Changing Lanes, Crossing Cultures’ and has a PhD in Culture and Communication. Born a Buddhist, now a Christian, Choon-Hwa works with clients of diverse faiths.
