CORE VALUES

Humility
We realise that Asian Christians have much to teach and inform the Western Church,
so in humility we seek to engage in genuine cross-cultural dialogue
with Asian Christians about Asian ministry.
Collaboration
We are not seeking to work independently but collaboratively with like-minded individuals,
local churches, and organisations that are seeking to spread the gospel in Asian contexts
—whether within Australia or outside of Australia.
Intentionality
We use our available resources intentionally and strategically.
Integrity
We are committed to engaging in ministry openly, honestly, and transparently.

THAILAND
We are pleased to support Bangkok Bible Seminary’s Literature Committee, encouraging local scholars to produce books in the local language and see those books published and printed. Another project we proudly support is the OMF Adventure Camps which are a key strategy to disciple young Christians into leadership.
AUSTRALIA

We seek to encourage and collaborate with leaders in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne to accelerate their local Asian-focussed ministries. We amplify local thinkers, hold conferences and provide online resources to bring the latest theology and praxis to bear on the Asian Australian context both in English and Mandarin.

INDONESIA
Jaffray Theological Seminary, Makassar is a formal partner of CAC. We are pleased to support faculty development and their annual Missions Conference; as well as the provision of electronic library resources to several faculty in Indonesia.
USA
Fuller Theological Seminary We are proud to formally partner with the Asian American Center of Fuller Theological Seminary to provide Asian Australian leaders access to cutting edge research and resources. Together with the AAC, we co-lead “Asian Australian Formation Groups”, providing a much needed space to integrate faith and ethnicity.

We need your help...

The Centre for Asian Christianity is an initiative of Brisbane School of Theology, but we exist as a self-sustaining program within the broader college. This means we are fully dependent on the generosity and donations of our supporters to ensure the Centre can continue to deliver timely, high-quality resources for the Asian church around the world.

If you are able, please give to help support this important ministry!

We’d also love you to join our online community! Keep up to date with all the upcoming events and new resources by joining us on our Facebook or Instagram, and subscribe to our regular newsletter.

What’s happening in Asian ministry?

There’s a lot going on in the Asian church, and our partners are in the thick of it.

We’re delighted to have strong partnerships with several important ministries and theological colleges in Australia and Asia who are working hard to advance the gospel. Our goal is to be an Australian hub for Asian ministry, and to point you in the direction that best suits your needs in your community. Here you will find ways to connect with churches, mission agencies, college and training organisations that can take your ministry to the next level.
