ABOUT ⋅ LIVING WHOLENESS

God-Centred transformation

The Living Wholeness Institute seeks to develop training, resources, and a vibrant community that equips people to grow in transformation and give life to others.

Partnering for mental health

The partnership between Brisbane School of Theology and Living Wholeness Institute is a collaboration that seeks to equip people with the skills and knowledge to care for others in a holistic and transformative way.

Both organisations share a passion for integrating Christian faith with practical skills for caring for others. The Graduate Certificate in Pastoral Care for Mental Health, accredited by the Australian University of Theology, is a particular highlight of this partnership. This course integrates Living Wholeness content alongside current thinking in pastoral care and theology.

At the heart of this content is the Christian Wholeness Framework, a systematic approach, based on theology, that engages with biology, psychiatry, and psychology to offer a holistic way to understand human nature.

The partnership between BST and Living Wholeness Institute brings together the strengths and experience of both organisations to further develop the people of God, and help shape disciples who are trained and ready to provide pastoral care and support.

Whether you’re in ministry, cross-cultural mission, a volunteer, a mental health professional, or a concerned friend, this partnership offers a unique opportunity to learn from experts in the field and gain practical skills to make a difference in the lives of those around you.

“The simplicity of the framework and models is genius as it is both intuitively easy to understand and yet touches depths of meaning that no other approach addresses, and this create opportunities for necessary change in people’s lives.”
