Master of Divinity

The Master of Divinity is designed for Christians who have an undergraduate qualification and are looking to elevate their biblical expertise and ministry focus.

This program introduces you to the sources and content of the Christian story and message at an advanced level. You will explore the entire Bible, analysing key sections such as the Gospels, Paul’s letters, and the Psalms. Delve into original languages, grasp the extensive history of the church, and explore major theological doctrines.

By completing this course, you will develop the skills and knowledge necessary for effective leadership in various ministry contexts, including pastoral roles, local and international mission work, and church planting. You’ll also be well-prepared for further academic pursuits, including advanced theological study paths.

Dive deep into Scripture

Start with a thorough overview of the biblical text, progressing to a detailed analysis of significant sections. Engage with essential theological concepts and their implications for faith, Christian living, and ministry. This in-depth knowledge will enable you to understand and articulate the Christian message with depth and clarity.

Tailored learning pathways

Choose to specialise in areas that align with your career aspirations, such as pastoral ministry, preaching, cross-cultural mission, or comprehensive biblical studies. This flexibility allows you to tailor your academic journey to fit your vocational goals.

Pathway to impactful careers

The Master of Divinity fulfils academic requirements for ordination in many denominations and is recognised by ministry organisations as excellent preparation for practical mission work. This program opens doors to various roles, including church pastoral positions, international mission, and chaplaincy.
