The Graduate Diploma of Divinity is designed for Christians who hold an undergraduate qualification and are eager to deepen their theological understanding and ministry skills.
This course introduces you to the advanced sources and content of the Christian story, equipping you to articulate and apply this message in contemporary ministry contexts.
Through this diploma, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the Bible’s overarching narrative—from creation to final revelation—while developing the analytical skills necessary to engage with complex theological issues. You will be prepared to take on active roles in ministry, local or international mission work, or further theological studies.
Comprehensive Biblical insight
Explore the biblical narrative, diving into significant texts such as Paul’s letters and the Gospels. This foundational knowledge will empower you to interpret and communicate the Christian message with clarity and depth.
Hands-on ministry training
Gain hands-on experience through practical units that equip you with essential ministry skills. Whether you are learning the principles of effective leadership or exploring methods for cross-cultural evangelism, this training will enhance your ability to serve in both local church contexts and international mission settings.
Tailored learning pathways
With the flexibility to choose elective units, you can focus on specific areas of interest, such as Biblical languages, church history, or practical ministry skills like pastoral care and preaching. This customisation allows you to align your studies with your vocational aspirations.
Pathway to impactful careers
Ministry organisations acknowledge the Graduate Diploma of Divinity as excellent preparation for mission work and local church involvement. Whether you aim to apply your skills in a full-time ministry role or enhance your participation in your community, this course equips you to make a meaningful impact.
Direct path to further studies
The Graduate Diploma of Divinity serves as a solid foundation for the Master of Divinity. Progressing to the Master of Divinity not only enriches your qualifications but equips you for deeper theological exploration and advanced ministry training, increasing your professional opportunities in ministry.
