SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN
STUDY ⋅ SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN
Creating safe spaces
Whether we are pastors, youth leaders, mission workers, or church members, we all must ensure that our Christian spaces are safe for children.

Throughout this unit, you will engage with experienced professionals in theology, social work, health, law enforcement, research, and survivor voices, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the nature of abuse.

In this unit, you will critically reflect on beliefs Christians hold that enable abuse to occur and explore strategies for preventing and responding to abuse through class discussion, lectures, and case studies led by skilled teachers.
