Graduate Certificate of Divinity

The Graduate Certificate of Divinity is designed for Christians who already hold an undergraduate qualification and are seeking to enhance their understanding of theology and ministry.

Through this graduate certificate, you will explore selected units across various disciplines, including Bible and Languages, Christian Thought and History, and Ministry and Practice.

This program will not only deepen your understanding of core theological doctrines but also equip you with practical skills for effective ministry. You will also be well-prepared for further theological study.

Upon completing the MTS program, you’ll be empowered to lead with renewed vision and increased impact, ready to serve with a deeper understanding and enhanced skills.

Comprehensive theological foundation

Experience a well-rounded introduction to key theological concepts. You will gain insights into the overarching narrative of the Bible, studying both the Old and New Testaments to grasp the essential story of faith.

Hands-on ministry training

Choose from a variety of practical ministry options to develop essential skills in areas such as pastoral care, preaching, and church leadership. This hands-on experience will prepare you to engage effectively in your local church or community.

Tailored learning pathways

With the flexibility to select units from multiple disciplines, you can customise your studies to align with your interests. Whether you want to dive deeper into a specific book of the Bible, explore church history, or learn Biblical languages like Hebrew or Greek, the Graduate Certificate allows you to shape your educational journey.

Direct path to further studies

The Graduate Certificate of Divinity serves as an excellent stepping stone into the Graduate Diploma or Master of Divinity. Progressing to the Master of Divinity not only enriches your qualifications but also equips you for deeper theological exploration and advanced ministry training, increasing your professional opportunities in ministry.
