Our desire for all our students is that they be shaped by God’s world, and prepared to serve His world: no matter what course you choose, that is the ultimate goal you will be working towards.
Every student has different gifts that God will use in unique ways, which is why we offer many paths of study. Every unit in every course involves growing your knowledge, shaping your character and giving you practical skills, making sure the whole of you is fit for God’s purposes.
Here’s a quick guide to our courses:
Undergraduate – for those starting out in higher education
Graduate – for those who have a bachelor degree in a non-theological field
Postgraduate – for those who a have theological bachelor degree
Audit – not for credit, no assessment and low cost
Brisbane School of Theology is an affiliated college of the Australian College of Theology (ACT) which means the courses we offer are accredited by the ACT. We’re also a member of the South Pacific Association of Evangelical Colleges (SPAEC) and the Asia Theological Association (ATA).
The main reason we affiliate with, or are members of, these larger theological bodies is so that you know you are studying in a program that is recognised not only across Australia, but internationally. It also means we must meet certain standards when it comes to our staff, our teaching program and our spiritual values, helping us keep our promise of giving you a high-quality theological education.
