Did you know that our Bible college founder Rev Gwilym Morgans was an amateur boxer from Wales before he became an ordained minister?
Rev Morgans migrated to Australia in 1937 and became a sought-after preacher here in Queensland, Victoria and overseas. He was passionate about effective preaching and wanted young people to be trained up in their faith and able to share it effectively. During his first few years at Albion Baptist Church, the membership of the church jumped by more than 50%.
What an inspiration!
