BST College Camp: Building Community and Preparing for Ministry

This year’s BST College Camp was a fantastic time of connection and practical ministry formation.

This year, we were joined by passionate representatives from mission organisations such as Wycliffe Bible Translators AustraliaPioneers of AustraliaOMF AustraliaSIM Australia, and World Team. These dedicated mission workers shared their experiences and offered valuable insights into what it means to serve on the mission field.

Their message was both simple and powerful: “Be willing to take the next step.”

It’s not about having everything figured out, but about trusting God and stepping forward in faith, one step at a time. Whether called to serve locally or internationally, the journey of ministry begins with that first step—and at BST, we’re committed to helping our students discern where God is calling them.

Alongside these valuable discussions, students enjoyed time to unwind and build relationships. Highlights included Trivia Night run by our Student Committee, board games, time by the pool, and plenty of good food and laughter.

At BST, we believe that community is essential to preparing students for real-world ministry. We intentionally cultivate an environment where students grow spiritually and academically together.

As we continue to walk alongside our students, we are committed to equipping them with biblical knowledge and the relational dynamics needed to serve faithfully, whether at home or across the globe. The BST College Camp is just one of the many ways we nurture the growth of our community and prepare students for ministry that is grounded in God’s word and heart for the world.
