Centre for Asian Christianity
Welcome to the Centre for Asian Christianity. Thank you for taking the time to find out about what our Centre does, who is involved, and how you or someone you know may benefit through engaging with us in some way.
The Centre’s vision is to be an Australian hub for the acceleration of gospel growth in the Asian church. Its mission is to equip Christians for ministry in Asian contexts, stimulate research in Asian Christianity, and connect Asian-focused Christians, churches, and organisations to one another, through events, resources, and partnerships. It does this through acting with humility, integrity, intentionality as it seeks to work collaboratively with Christians interested in or involved in Asian ministry both across Australia as well as across Asia.
The Centre is part of Brisbane School of Theology’s (BST’s) broader commitment to cross-cultural mission. BST has both English and Chinese Departments, with faculty members fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, Indonesian, and English involved in the Centre.
If you have a passion for Asian ministry and mission, we would love to hear from you.
