What a previous attendee has said:

“I’ve attended the child safeguarding conference at BST for the last two years. Despite having completed mandatory child protection training many times over the years, I found my eyes were opened to a new level. One key area was developing a greater understanding of the role and characteristics of grooming. I don’t recall this ever being covered in previous training. I’ve discovered that knowledge and insight around grooming is essential in protecting our children. Another significant aspect is that everyone has a part to play in keeping children safe in our churches. This training shouldn’t only be directed at those in children’s and youth ministries. Everyone should be encouraged to participate so that whole congregations have the awareness and strategies to keep our children safe.”
