Preparing to farewell John Coulson

As we prepare to bid farewell to John Coulson at the end of this year, we reflect on nearly 25 years of his unwavering dedication to the Brisbane School of Theology. John’s journey began as a student, and his exceptional qualities soon led him to join the teaching staff.

John’s impact on the college is profound. Known for his comprehensive and tender-hearted approach to teaching and mentoring, his diligent commitment to academic excellence has inspired students for years. John strives to see each of his students grow in knowledge and character, embodying the principles of Christ.

Throughout the years, he has demonstrated unwavering commitment and service to the college community, during both times of blessing and hardship.

Join us as we celebrate John’s retirement on November 13 at our end-of-year dinner. All BST alumni, board members, students, staff, and supporters, along with their families, are warmly invited to attend.

In retirement, John plans to spend quality time with his wife, Rowena, and their growing extended family. He’ll also continue to work on writing projects and teach some classes at BST as a sessional lecturer.

We invite you to share your thoughts and well wishes for John through the link below. Let’s make his farewell a memorable one as we express our gratitude for his incredible service to our community.
